Individual Counseling

Sick and tired of feeling sick and tired? Dealing with anxiety, depression, or just not knowing how to feel happy? Therapy can be an effective tool to provide clarity for individual struggles and gain valuable insight on how to tackle those struggles. The goal is to not keep you in counseling forever, the goal is to walk with you, support you, and guide you in learning some effective coping tools to move forward in healing and seek growth. Our role as your counselor is to show you a new perspective and help hold you accountable. During tough times it is easy to lose sight of our strengths and instead focus on what we may perceive as our weaknesses and our inability to change. By being in counseling you can learn to lean more on your strengths and focus on the ability to change.

Teen Counseling

Is your teen struggling with anxiety, depression, or self-harm? Are you one of hundreds of today's teens juggling school, emotions and feelings of isolation?  Let’s talk about it and discover some tools to help manage those unwanted feelings and behaviors. Often times teenagers share things with their counselors that they’ll never discuss with their parents. Allowing your teen to have a safe space, without the fear of judgement and or punishment, can often lead to emotional, social, and academic growth.

Couples Counseling

Has your marriage become mundane, a roommate situation, or are you just sticking around until the kids leave? Are you struggling with trust due to infidelity or betrayal? You owe it to yourself to do all you can to try to save your marriage, and we are here to support you through the process. Couples counseling provides a safe and neutral space where both husband and wife can be heard, seen, valued and work together to create the type of marriage they desire. We provide compassionate and unbiased counseling for couples looking to mend, heal, build trust, and overcome past hurts and disappointments that have built up over time.

Premarital counseling is available for those seriously dating who are looking to pursue marriage and want to start off on the right foot by digging deeper into their pasts, finances, family dynamics, and future marital roles and responsibilities.

EMDR

Dealing with a history of trauma can be difficult to work through on your own, let’s work through this together. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a form of therapy that has been proven effective in treating clients with a history of trauma by using bilateral stimulation (BLS); tapping, auditory tones, or eye movements to accelerate the brain’s capacity to process and heal a troubling memory. Results from EMDR can be seen in a few sessions, without the use of medication, and can be achieved with little talking during the session.

Bible Lesson

Christian Counseling

Christian counseling and secular counseling share some similar views; to help people overcome their problems, find joy, purpose, and meaning in life, and to guide in becoming well-adjusted individuals, both mentally and emotionally. Christian counseling utilizes the Bible and prayer as a guide and reference during the counseling process. Any counseling service can incorporate faith-based counseling upon request.

"Jesus says: 'I want you to follow me so fully, so intensely, so enduringly that all other attachments in your life look weak by comparison.”
